Iranian ‘His Shoes’ vying at Ukrainian fest

Iranian short flick ‘His Shoes’ has competed at the 2020 edition of the International Children’s Film Festival NEXT (ICHFF NEXT) in Ukraine.

Directed by Ahmad Seyyed-Keshmiri, the short film narrates the story of a little girl called Mahboubeh, who comes to a new comprehension of life by being beside her classmates.

The short flick is written by Seyyed-Keshmiri, based on a story from Mahboubeh Abbasi.

The ICHFF NEXT brings a selection of international short and feature films to the young audience.

The festival’s program targets four to 16-year-old children, and includes various films such as non-verbal, foreign and English language works.

The 2020 edition of the festival is being held on October 23-26.
